Sergi Biosca, new CEO of the technology consulting firm SEIDOR

Barcelona, September 12, 2024 – The technology consulting firm SEIDOR has appointed Sergi Biosca Arpa as its new CEO, with the goal of strengthening its executive team and driving its strategy to become a global leader in the ICT sector, under the executive chairmanship of Josep Benito, who continues to lead the company.

Sergi Biosca brings to SEIDOR extensive experience in the technology consulting sector, accumulated over more than 25 years in leadership positions at top companies in this industry, participating in some of the most significant projects in the IT field.

Engineer in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), before his recent appointment at SEIDOR, Sergi Biosca served as head of Business in Europe and CEO of NTT DATA in Spain. In both roles, Biosca led the growth of the consulting firm in Spain, Benelux, and International Organizations, turning it into a reference in the technology sector.

Previously, Sergi Biosca held several prominent positions at everis, linked to the Telecommunications sector and more recently to Public Administrations, contributing to the company's expansion in Europe and Latin America.

Sergi Biosca’s appointment coincides with the entry of Carlyle, one of the leading global investment firms, into SEIDOR's shareholder structure. SEIDOR will maintain its corporate headquarters in Vic (Barcelona). Pending final approval from the National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), this transaction underscores SEIDOR’s ambition to consolidate itself as one of the top technology consulting firms worldwide.

As the new CEO, Sergi Biosca will contribute to accelerating the company’s growth plan with the goal of establishing it as a leader in technological solutions and digital transformation on a global scale. Currently, SEIDOR operates in Spain, the United States, Western Europe, LATAM, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Under Sergi Biosca’s leadership, SEIDOR will continue fostering strategic alliances with global technology leaders such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, IBM, Google, and AWS, while also focusing on the development of proprietary products to diversify its offerings and strengthen its position in the global market.
