TMB streamlines log management based on Elastic Stack

Challenge

TMB required a platform that would allow the centralization of processing and exploitation of different server and operational logs of the company.

Previously, we had to identify different sources of logs, define an ingestion process, enrich logs, and design different dashboards for the exploitation and visualization of the logs. An architecture has been designed that is capable of supporting the load of logs to be ingested and that can scale and evolve according to the emerging needs.

Solution

In collaboration with TMB's technical department and following Elastic's best practices, a platform for log ingestion and exploitation has been set up to cope with very high levels of processing, with a focus on flexibility to adapt the solution, allowing for continuous improvement.

The platform provides flexibility, facilitates data governance and management, and allows for the visualization of key indicators in a user-friendly manner.

Results

With the new log processing platform, the following has been achieved:
