SEIDOR, driving innovation at the America’s Cup

SEIDOR has organized several exclusive events focused on advanced technology as part of the 37th America's Cup, taking place in Barcelona from August to October. This global event, which goes beyond its nature as a sporting competition, becomes a true innovation laboratory, ideal for exploring the latest technological trends.

With a constant focus on the positive impact of technology, SEIDOR connects the innovative spirit of the America’s Cup with the transformative power of new technological solutions, alongside world-leading technology partners.

This edition of the America’s Cup stands out as the perfect stage to showcase how cutting-edge technology can transform sailing, boost business competitiveness, and above all, create a positive impact on people.

A technological showcase

The America’s Cup is much more than the world’s most prestigious sailing competition; it is also a true engineering and technology laboratory. The boats participating are genuine marvels of innovation, the result of years of research in areas such as hydrodynamics, composite materials, and artificial intelligence. For SEIDOR, this intersection between sport and technology demonstrates how digital transformation positively impacts various sectors.

In this way, the competition becomes a showcase of technological innovation. From the design of the boats, optimized with advanced software, to the real-time analysis of large volumes of data to improve race performance, the event exemplifies how cutting-edge technologies enhance capabilities and performance.

SEIDOR’s exclusive activities

In this innovation-driven environment of the America’s Cup, SEIDOR has organized a series of exclusive events to explore key technological challenges and their impact on both businesses and society.

One of the standout events was the Exclusive Day at the Real Club Náutico of Barcelona, where over 50 CEOs and CIOs participated in a keynote focused on the transformative power of artificial intelligence and innovation. Another of SEIDOR’s organized events was the Port Technology Summit, which included the roundtable "Disruptive Technologies in Business: From Present to Future." In front of more than 100 CIOs, the technological solutions that are redefining sectors such as navigation and port logistics were explored. With a highly practical focus, this forum gave attendees the opportunity to learn firsthand about the latest innovation trends applied to real-world contexts, enhancing competitiveness within their organizations.

Finally, Alberto Delgado from SEIDOR led a third session focused on leadership, titled "Blue Leadership: How C-levels Can Lead in an Exponential World." This meeting explored the key strategies for senior executives to address the impact and challenges of technological acceleration.
