Barcelona, October 3, 2024 - The technology consulting firm SEIDOR has launched two new data centers in the United States, located in Miami and Atlanta, reinforcing its capabilities for the North American country and LATAM. These new regional Cloud infrastructures are key to SEIDOR's commitment to reinforce the proximity and security of its services, optimizing the performance and integration of SAP solutions to ensure greater efficiency and scalability for customers.
Specifically, SEIDOR's data center in Miami (MI1) is positioned as a key hub for operations in Latin America and the northeastern United States, providing improved response times and greater reliability for critical operations. The new capabilities are designed to optimize the deployment of SAP solutions, offering greater flexibility and performance in highly demanding environments. Thanks to this robust, local infrastructure, innovation is facilitated and business process response times are improved.
The Atlanta data center (AT1) is designed to provide connectivity recovery services in the event of disruptions, backing up the Miami center. In addition, the proximity of this facility to one of the world's largest airports ensures rapid intervention in emergency situations, minimizing service interruptions and guaranteeing a high level of operational continuity for customers.
Both locations are strategic in that they are close enough to facilitate logistical synergies while also maintaining sufficient distance to avoid the impact of possible service outages due to local contingencies, significantly improving operational resilience.
Thanks to these two infrastructures, SEIDOR guarantees services with high availability, essential for clients that require 24/7 operations and, in turn, strengthens its position as a Cloud service provider.
SEIDOR plans to serve more than 600 clients by 2025, with a potential for expansion that could reach 3,000 clients. As for the number of users, it expects to reach 15,000 next year, in its B1 PaaS service in SEIDOR Cloud.
Boosting innovation and scalabilit
Both data centers are built to offer high-performance, energy-efficient and flexible scalability solutions. These facilities are part of a global network that facilitates SEIDOR to further expand its cloud services, improving efficiency and reducing operating costs.
SEIDOR is committed to modernizing its infrastructure by incorporating emerging technologies and optimizing its cloud ecosystem. With a strong focus on cloud-first models and the integration of PaaS services from key providers such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, the company ensures advanced technology solutions that can be tailored to each customer's specific requirements. This approach allows it to improve flexibility and innovation capacity, two fundamental pillars to remain competitive in the global market.
Miquel Pujol, SEIDOR's Director of Operations, has pointed out that “this expansion significantly strengthens our operational capacity in the United States and our competitiveness in the global market”.
Furthermore, Pujol added that “with this new, robust and flexible infrastructure, we are better prepared to face future challenges, aligning ourselves with our vision of leading the provision of highly available and scalable technology services”.
