Hortifrut is a Chilean company with more than 40 years of experience, dedicated to the production, export, and marketing of berries globally, mainly blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. It has subsidiaries in America, Europe, and Asia, operating under the commercial brands Hortifrut, Naturipe, and Hortifrut Marketing EMEA. The company has become the largest producer and marketer of blueberries worldwide, and the second largest considering the entire category of berries.
Technology and digitalization accompany the company's strategy in all its axes, facilitating the incorporation of new markets, helping in the efficiency, transparency, and digitalization of its processes through the Digital & Technology Management area, which is focused on being the enabler in Hortifrut for innovation, disruption, efficiency, and transparency.
Due to the constant growth of the company, Hortifrut detected the need for a centralized, reliable, and highly available source of information given its global coverage. This led to the challenge of standardizing its processes to make operations more efficient and consolidate the three existing SAP platforms with different versions, processes, and locations; thus, the OneSAP project was born.

Before: Challenges and Opportunities

• Consolidate three existing SAP platforms with different processes, locations, and in different update versions (R3 and SAP) into a single centralized SAP S/4HANA system
• Integrate, homologate, and standardize all processes, master objects, etc.
• Implement SAP S/4HANA in the group's subsidiaries that did not have this technology (India, Morocco, and Ecuador). For this, they created the OneSAP project.
